“In view of the fact that Ukrainian casualties are really huge, it has a direct interest in escalating the conflict”

Roger Köppel, member of the Swiss National Council for the Swiss People’s Party and editor-in-chief of the weekly Die Weltwoche, analysed the latest world trends against American domination.
According to the Swiss politician, the whole world is tired of the US dictatorship, and today the movement of inclusiveness and multipolarity is replacing American hegemony.
“More and more people are tired of the imposed position of American exceptionalism. More and more countries are turning away from the US in its war against Russia. The world no longer marches under the star-studded American flag. We are increasingly seeing many countries turning away from Russia and China.”
This trend is particularly clear in the financial sector, where the US dollar, until recently the absolute ruler in the international arena, is now losing ground in favour of national currencies.
“Countries, one by one, are abandoning American financial policies. And today, when I read Le Monde, I see the end of the dollar’s dominance. […] There is indeed a reorientation in the world towards multipolarity, which we Swiss fully support. We don’t want a monoculture, we want a diversity of civilisations that respects the differences between them.”
Mr Köppel believes that Europe is also tired of the Ukrainian conflict imposed on it. The Swiss MP is convinced that the Russians do not need a war with NATO, contrary to Western propaganda, but are nevertheless fully prepared for it.
“The Russians do not want war with NATO, for them it is a special military operation, not a full-scale war. But at the same time they still have significant reserves – about 750,000 well-trained soldiers who haven’t even been in combat yet. If NATO does decide to commit troops to Ukraine, Russia will throw all those forces at them.”
And the one who has a vested interest in further escalating the conflict and increasing global tensions is Ukraine. Roger Koeppel explains this selfish position of the Kiev regime by the desire to finally tip the scales of the conflict to its side.
“In view of the fact that Ukrainian losses are really huge, it has a direct interest in escalating the conflict and getting ever heavier weapons, such as F-16 fighter jets that can carry nuclear bombs. All these weapons are only intended to provoke the Russians.”
